A successful enterprise and business like a landmark construction, possesses its uniqueness and value. It needs to be well architected to be successful, especially when it gets into digital world. The original architecture definition by Sir Henry Watton states: “In architecture as in all other operative arts, the end must direct the operation. The end is to build well. Well building has three conditions: Commodity, Firmness and Delight”. This definition is applicable to digital enterprise and solution architectures as well.
We strongly believe that architectures in digital world also need vision as its soul, need core concepts as art of creation, not mearly based on organic growth with engineering production processes based on certain frameworks and tools, though those frameworks and tools can be helpful. The talent of architects make difference, while the discipline of architecture skills need to be well trained. This is the difference we can make.
